Research and Publication Ethics (RPE) is a compulsory two credit course for all Ph.D students as per UGC Regulation, 2020. The C.H.M.K Library, University of Calicut announces Workshop on Research and Publication Ethics (RPE) which will be organised from 03 to  07th July, 2023. This workshop will be specially designed and developed for the Research Scholars/Fellows, Faculties, Professionals and Students.

Duration of the workshop

• 5 days – 30 hours.

• Philosophy and ethics of research

• Scientific conduct

• Publication ethics

• Open access publishing

• Publication misconduct

• Databases and research metrics

Number of seats  50

Admission fee  Rs.1000/- per candidate.

Criteria for admission

Evaluation criteria

Attendance - 90% and above

Multiple choice type test score- 60% and above
